Mert Topcu

Welcome to my profile. My name is Mert Topcu, and, I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University. I received my PhD in economics from Afyon Kocatepe University. 

My fields of interest include Development Economics, Economic Growth, and Panel Data Econometrics. I have published several articles in a wide range of high-quality journals including Finance Research Letters, Energy Economics, Defence and Peace Economics, and European Review, among others. 

I worked as a visiting scholar at the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business at Georgia College & State University and the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration at Valdosta State University.
